Raleigh Auto Glass is a natural name for a business in this city, and other, unrelated businesses use it. This site is not connected with any of them. Its only operator is Impex Auto Glass. It is not run by an insurance company either: Impex is independent of every insurer, and insurer names on this site only say whose claim a guide explains.

Who Impex Auto Glass is

Impex Auto Glass is part of the Impex family of companies, with Impex Auto Sales, Impex Chevy, Impex GM and the Impex Heavy Metal Division. Impex Auto Sales is headquartered in Greensboro, North Carolina. On its About page Impex describes growing from one person to five technicians in its first year, and today a team of 36.

Impex is based in Greensboro, with a second shop in Charlotte. It describes its reach as all of North Carolina, all of South Carolina and parts of Georgia, with mobile service throughout. In Raleigh that mobile service is how the work is done: the technician and the glass come to your car. Impex states that it was named a Top 25 Auto Glass Retailer in the United States by AGRR Magazine.

How Impex works

Impex’s stated mission is to ‘deliver accurate, transparent, and efficient auto glass service while minimizing downtime’. Its own site names what that means in practice:

• VIN-based verification, so the right part is ordered for your exact vehicle.
• On-site ADAS calibration when required, so the camera behind a new windshield is calibrated in the same visit.
• Fully inclusive quotes, with no hidden fees, upsells, delivery charges, fuel fees or disposal fees.
• Insurance help. Impex works with all major insurance providers, and its claims guide says it handles the claim process for you, with direct insurance billing.
• Fleet work, with the glass common fleet vehicles use kept in stock.

What Impex does

Impex’s services are windshield repair, windshield replacement, back glass replacement, side window replacement, ADAS camera calibration and ADAS radar calibration. This site does not try to cover them all. It covers the part Raleigh drivers ask about most and get the least help with: the claim.
